Search free. Pay for the report.

The free tier runs the real engine, capped at three searches a month. When the answer matters - when you need the element mapping, the narrative and the PDF for your attorney - that's the paid deliverable.

FAQ

Billing, plainly

What counts as a search?

One run of the prior-art engine over one invention description: query planning, live corpus search, ranked and scored references with a knockout-risk read. Re-opening a saved search is free; running the engine again counts again. Patent lookups by number are never billed.

What counts as a report?

One full patentability report built over a search: the element-by-reference matrix, the examiner-style novelty and obviousness narrative, the limitations section, and the PDF export. Reports are the deliverable a search firm charges $1,000-$3,000 for, and they are paid-only.

What happens if I go over my allowance?

On Pro, reports beyond the 10 included bill at $4 each; on Scale, beyond 60 at $2.50 each. Searches don't have overage - when a plan's search allowance runs out, searching pauses until the next billing period (or an upgrade). Free simply stops at 3 searches.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are monthly with no minimum term; cancel from settings and you keep access until the end of the paid period. Your saved searches and reports remain readable on the free tier afterwards.

Is there a trial of the paid features?

The example report on this site is a real engine run you can inspect before paying. The free tier runs the genuine search engine, so you can judge search quality on your own invention first - the upgrade only adds the report layer, monitoring and API access.
